What to have ready when you call

A few details speed up the first conversation:

• The project. Address, build type, contract type, current stage.
• The issue. What's happening, when it started, what you've already tried.
• The parties. Builder, developer, owner, body corporate, lawyer, who's involved.
• The timeline. Are you working to a tribunal date, an insurance deadline, a build milestone, or no fixed deadline.

You don't need everything before you call. We work with whatever's known.

Geographic reach

QBFS is based on the Brisbane northside with most active engagements in Queensland and northern NSW. Commercial work, expert-witness engagements, and forensic investigations run nationally with travel built into the engagement scope.

What QBFS doesn't do

For clarity, before you call:

• Statutory building certification, sits with the appointed certifier, not with us.
• Rectification trade work, we investigate, audit, and advise, but we don't run rectification trades.

For anything inside our scope (construction consultancy, building defects investigation, expert-witness work, QA and audits, ITP development, risk management), call Paul.
